Your images stay yours.
BlurImage is built to edit images locally. This policy explains what happens when you visit the site and use the editor.
Images and edits
When you choose, drop, or paste an image into a BlurImage tool, the file is read by your browser. Blurring, pixelation, compression, selection, undo, and image export happen locally on your device. BlurImage does not upload your source image or edited image to an image-processing server.
When you leave or refresh the page, the in-memory editing session is cleared by the browser. Downloaded files are saved wherever your browser normally saves downloads.
Data we collect
BlurImage is designed without accounts and does not require names, email addresses, or image submissions. We do not intentionally collect the contents of images, selections, or exported files.
Your browser and hosting provider may still process ordinary technical request data such as an IP address, request time, URL, user-agent, and error information as part of serving a public website. Those server-level records are controlled by the hosting provider and are not used by the editor to inspect your image.
Browser storage and preferences
The site may use browser storage for non-image preferences such as your light or dark theme choice. Model or static asset caching may be used where a feature needs it. This cache is held by your browser and does not give BlurImage access to the image pixels in your editing session.
You can clear these preferences and caches using your browser’s site-data controls.
Third-party services
BlurImage does not embed advertising trackers or require third-party accounts for image editing. The site may rely on ordinary browser and hosting infrastructure to deliver HTML, styles, scripts, models, and images. External sites linked from BlurImage have their own policies and are outside this document.
Security and limitations
Local processing reduces the need to transmit your image, but no website or device can promise absolute security. Keep your browser updated, review the image before sharing it, and avoid editing sensitive material on a compromised device.
